What's OLD is now NEW again!

The colorful center of this quilt top was originally pieced by Sandy's mother in law some years ago.  Sandy asked me to sandwich the layers and then Sandy quilted the center. Bill is going to embroider the names and dates.

I helped finish off with a free motion border and a mitered binding.

Someone is going to have a wonderful surprise when they see this.

Sandy it was fun working with you.

Unnamed Quilt - KIDS IN A HAMMOCK

WORK IN PROGRESS !

Havent had much time to work on my current art quilt. I am anxious to get back to work on it.  I love the way the girl looks.

Student PATTI LAWRENCE working on Landscape QUILT

This is Patties first quilt project. Way to go!

MILLIE VANILLY !!!

This is MILAGRA or Millie, the newest addition to my family.  She was left at my doorstep at 5 weeks of age and weighing 1/2 kilo.

She is healthier now and into everything..including chasing the other 5 dogs around the yard.

BIENVENIDOS MILLIE!

SEAMSTRESS STRESS or should I say STRETCH?

A very good client of mine had me make a custom slipcover for her hide a bed. It was a lot of work toting my sewing machine to her house...up and down, up and down...not bad work for someone my age.  I am very happy with the outcome...but need a rest now...should I fold out the bed?

I am excited to have 6 students learning to quilt.  All of them are first time quilters and they are doing awesome work.  THEY ARE ADDICTED to QUILTING NOW!  As soon as I get the photos off my phone I will post some more photos.  Below Vianey is working on a patchwork, Bonnie an art quilt and Patti a quilted rooster mixer cover.  We call this ¨HAVING FUN!¨
